I have read the Letter to a Spaceman penned by astronaut Tim Peake and drafted a letter to Puffin and European Space Agency in the hope they may be able to guide me to an agent to handle my books.  It is so frustrating as I know there is a market for my little stories.

…..and back to work.

For auld lang syne.  A friend has gone; we’ve said our goodbyes.  Spring is here, the future lies waiting.  Bright pink blooms the camelia.  Bulbs are planted, seeds are scattered.  Great Tits are busy, on eggs they must be sitting…now we must wait and leave them in peace and pick up our pens our books to finish…

Nearly Writing Wednesday…

Getting prepared for a full yes full day of writing tomorrow. It is so exciting to read the posts about our own planet on Tim Peake’s Facebook page that I really need to finish my book about our planet. The three characters are exploring Earth just as they did the planets in the solar system on their epic journey.

Library talks

Looking forward to giving not one, but two talks at my local libary. One will be for children with the other aimed at adults and talking more specifically about the Observatory.

My phone is set to beep at hourly intervals to remind me to concentrate on the days I am writing…but the Great Tits are busy making a nest in our nest box.  They are so busy!  It is fascinating to hear them, yes hear them, pecking away inside the box doing some unseen diy and peeling away strips of wood just below the hole.
